Warranty Information
| Some of our vehicles have a
remaining balance on the factory warranty. In addition to any factory warranty available, we also offer an additional warranty provided through Guardian Warranty Corporation. The Guardian warranty can also be added to a vehicle with no remaining factory warranty. The Guardian warranty is accepted nationwide and has a 24/7 roadside emergency line (1-866-293-3543). If a vehicle has no remaining factory warranty, we also offer our standard warranty through Autoventures, Inc. |

| COVERED COMPONENTS: ENGINE: BLOCK, HEAD, ALL INTERNALLY LUBRICATED PARTS, TIMING BELT AND TIMING DRIVE COMPONENTS. CAMSHAFT AND VALVE TRAIN. COOLANT LEAKS ON INTAKE MANIFOLD AND HEAD GASKETS. TRANSMISSION: CASE AND ALL INTERNALLY LUBRICATED PARTS, TORQUE CONVERTER AND HOUSING. DRIVE AXLES: CV AXLE SHAFTS, FRONT OR REAR DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING AND INTERNAL COMPONENTS. TRANSFER CASE AND INTERNAL COMPONENTS. COOLING SYSTEM: RADIATOR, WATER PUMP, ELECTRIC COOLING FANS, THERMOSTAT, FAN SWITCHES. BRAKES: WHEEL CYLINDERS, CALIPERS, EMERGENCY BRAKE, MASTER CYLINDER. ELECTRICAL: ALTERNATOR, STARTER, VOLTAGE REGULATOR. SUSPENSION: BALL JOINTS, CONTROL ARMS. STEERING: POWER STEERING RACK AND PUMP. TOWING: IF TOWING IS REQUIRED DUE TO FAILURE OF A COVERED COMPONENT WE WILL TOW THE VEHICLE UP TO 25 MILES. BEYOND 25 MILES A CHARGE OF $1 PER MILE WILL BE ASSESSED. TOWING TO BE PERFORMED BY OUR AGENT ONLY. |
| WHAT IS NOT COVERED? AUTOVENTURES, INC. WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRS PERFORMED OTHER THAN AT OUR LOCATION. FAILURES CAUSED BY ABUSE OR NEGLECT (I.E. FAILURE TO CHANGE OR MAINTAIN FLUID LEVELS, OPERATING THE CAR WHILE OVERHEATED, ETC.) OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WILL NOT BE COVERED. DIAGNOSTIC CHARGES, FLUIDS, BELTS, HOSES, ETC. WILL NOT BE COVERED. ANY IMPROPERLY PERFORMED REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS OR TAMPERING WITH ANY EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE COVERED. MANUAL TRANSMISSION CLUTCH AND SLAVE CYLINDER SHALL NOT BE COVERED. INTERMITTENT LIFTER TAPS WILL NOT BE COVERED, NOR WILL COLD START SMOKE WHICH CLEARS UP WITHIN 1-2 MIN, NOR WILL OIL CONSUMPTION WITHIN FACTORY SPECS. FLUID LEAKS ARE NOT COVERED. |
| OTHER COMMENTS/CONDITIONS: AUTOVENTURES, INC. RESERVES THE RIGHT TO USE REPLACEMENT PARTS OF LIKE KIND AND QUALITY. AUTOVENTURES' MAXIMUM LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY WILL BE 50% OF THE VEHICLE'S PURCHASE PRICE. DIAGNOSTIC CHARGES INCURRED BY AUTOVENTURES, INC. WHICH RESULT IN DIAGNOSIS OF A NON-COVERED PART SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER. THIS WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERRABLE. NO COVERAGE WILL BE EXTENDED FOR VEHICLES USED COMMERCIALLY OR FOR TOWING LOADS IN EXCESS OF MANUFACTURER'S RATING. AUTOVENTURES, INC. WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF TIM, TRANSPORTATION, INCONVENIENCE OR ANY INDICENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. FIRE, FLOOD, THEFT, VANDALISM OR IMPROPER SERVICE OR REPAIRS BY AN UNCERTIFIED MECHANIC SHALL NOT BE COVERED. |
| COVERAGE DETAILS: AUTOVENTURES, INC. WILL PAY 70% OF PARTS AND LABOR FOR COVERED REPAIRS. PURCHASER PAYS 30% OF PARTS AND LABOR FOR COVERED REPAIRS. THE TERM OF THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE FOR THE LESSER OF 3 MONTHS OR 3,000 MILES. COST IS $250.00 |
| GUARDIAN GOLD WARRANTY Guardian Gold is a wrap coverage for cars with a existing factory warranty when the vehicle is purchased through Autoventures, Inc. Guardian Gold warranties add extended protection to a vehicle's original factory warranty. Guardian Gold warranties are available for vehicles currently covered by a valid factory warranty and begin after the factory warranty has expired with terms available from 24 to 64 months and up to 100,000 miles, either Standard or Comprehensive coverage options. |

POWERTRAIN COVERAGE INCLUDES: ENGINE: All internally lubricated parts, Camshaft and Bearings, Connecting Rods and Bearings, Crankshafts and Bearings, Cylinder block, Main bearings, Distributor shaft, Exhaust manifold, Intake manifold, Oil pump and Gears Pick-up screen, Pistons, Piston rings, Wrist pins, Timing chain and Gears, Timing belt, Cylinder heads, Exhaust valves, Valve springs and Retainers, Push rods, Rocker arms and Shafts, Hydraulic and Soft lifters. TRANSMISSION: Automatic – All internally lubricated parts, case torque converter, lock-up converter, gears and shafts, bearings, bushings, bands, clutch plates, friction and steel drums, pump, servo unit, valve body and plate, governor. Manual - All internally lubricated parts, case, bearings, bushings, gears, shafts, synchronizers, spacers, main drive gear, main shaft, shift forks, synchronizer drums, overdrive housing.(Exclusions are clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, linkage, cables, shifter, electronic switches, solenoids, and clutch slave cylinders). SEALS AND GASKETS: Cylinder head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets are covered. All other seals and gaskets are covered as a result of a covered repair. Transmission: Automatic- All internally lubricated parts, Case, Torque Converter, Lock-up converter, Gears and shafts, Bearings, Bushings, Bands, Clutch plates, Friction and steel drums, Pump, Servo unit, Valve body and plate, Governor. Roadside Assistance NOT AVAILABLE STANDARD COVERAGE INCLUDES POWERTRAIN, PLUS THE FOLLOWING: AIR CONDITIONING: (OEM EQUIPMENT ONLY) Accumulator, Compressor, Clutch, Clutch bearing, Condenser, Dryer/Receiver, Evaporator. (Exclusions are component failure due to contamination of the specified manufactured refrigeration oil, recharge and evacuation of system, A/C system conversion from Freon to other chemicals and any retrofit process). BRAKES: (NON ABS Only) All internally lubricated parts of the hydraulic system including the Master cylinder, Vacuum power assist booster and valve, Disc brake calipers, Wheel cylinders, Steel brake lines and Hoses. (Exclusions are: Linings, Rotors, Pads, Drums, Hardware and any component failure due to fluid contamination). COOLING: Radiator, Water pump, Thermostat, Electronic radiator fan, Fan and Clutch, Coolant recovery container. (Exclusions are Belts, Hoses, Heater core, Blower motors, and Electronic switches). ELECTRICAL: Alternator, Electric horn, Front wiper motor, Rear wiper motor, Rear defroster switch, Starter motor, Starter drive assembly, Starter solenoid, and Voltage regulator. RENTAL CAR REIMBURSEMENT: In the event that a mechanical breakdown of a covered component requires labor in excess of eight (8) hours, you are reimbursed up to $25.00 per day for a maximum of four (4) days. (Exclusions are delays caused by unavailability of parts, shipping, and shop schedules). ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND TOWING: 1-800-745-5791 COMPREHENSIVE COVERAGE INCLUDES POWERTRAIN, STANDARD, PLUS THE FOLLOWING: BRAKES: (ABS is included on all Guardian Gold Coverages). ABS related components including Electronic control processor, Pressure modulator valve, Isolation dump valve, Accumulator, Wheel speed sensors, Hydraulic pump and motor assembly. ENHANCED ENGINE: Engine mounts, Timing belt tensioner, Timing and valve covers, (only as a result of a covered component failure), Transmission mounts, Flywheel, Flex plate. FUEL SYSTEM: Injectors, metering valve, fuel pumps, lines and fittings, Fuel gauge sending unit, Fuel tank (only as a result of corrosion). ENHANCED COOLING: Heater core INTERIOR/EXTERIOR: Hood latch and cable, Door locks, handles, hinges, Trunk lock and hinges, Seat adjuster, springs, Washer fluid exit port, Glove box lock.
